2011
The C300 brought the heart of Canon’s pioneering image technology into the world of cinema with an 8.3MP oversampling sensor, compact ergonomics and extended dynamic range with the introduction of Canon Log.

The world’s first DSLR camera with 4K video recording offered filmmakers a more agile shooting solution with a much smaller footprint, perfect for B-roll or action footage.

Designed for motion picture and high resolution digital production industries, the EOS C500 offered the ability to output 4K resolution footage as RAW data for recording with an external device.

Added functionality such as Dual Pixel CMOS AF and MP4 recording made the C100 Mark II perfect for single person video production. This intuitive camera offered next level Cinema EOS imaging performance and real creative freedom.

The C300 Mark III brought Canon’s ground-breaking Dual Pixel CMOS AF system to the next level, with reliable and pin-sharp face and object tracking, as well as the innovate Focus Guide for manual focus assist.
2016
With its 4.5K CMOS sensor and XF-AVC, ProRes and RAW recording, the C700 brought Cinema EOS into the hands of large-scale productions with completely redesigned ergonomics built for larger crews, offering high-resolution recording formats and professional connectivity.
2017
Allowing sharp and natural 4K images to be captured internally in Cinema RAW Light, MP4 or XF-AVC formats, the C200 gave users the choice to recording onto to CFast 2.0™ or SD cards respectively; Added features included 120P slow-motion in Full HD and the introduction of touch screen AF.
